 Trying Something New
We are looking for ways to make it easy for you to find out what is happening at Willow Springs.  There will still be a paper newsletter but we want to know if you would like to have the newsletter emailed to you or if you want us to keep you updated with blog entries on this News page.  What would you like to see? Riding Clinic Coming Soon

Gavin Moylan, Grand Prix and Hunter champion rider, will be coming soon to Willow Springs to conduct a clinic.  Watch the message board for more information. 

Cold but Happy

The first Willow Springs sleepover on October 18 was a chilly success.  A wonderful time was had by all.  Thanks to all the helpers.

Welcome to all of our new clients!  We look forward to seeing you at the barn often.    Welcome back to Cosmo –we missed you!  Welcome to Alexis (27 years old!), Bo-Bo, Cheyenne, Dakota,  Dan,  Finn,  Frisbee,  Renata and Spooner!     Congratulations to the Robideau family on the purchase of Pixiedust!  

 

Willow Springs is proud to announce the birth of its first baby born on April 11, 2008.  Darcie made her debut on a beautiful Friday afternoon with many friends gathered around.  What a lucky filly to be surrounded by so much love from the moment her little hooves touched the ground.  Lily has been a great mom!!

We all look forward to watching Darcie grow up on the farm. 

 

Congratulations to the Renfroe Family on the birth (on May 11, Mother’s Day and Melinda’s birthday!) to Jasper, a little colt!

 

Thanks to everyone who participated in our Blessing of the Animals on March 30.   It was a wonderful afternoon – special thanks to Fr. Congratulations to our Art Contest Winners – we hope you have enjoyed the wonderful artwork displayed in the barn.  Our reception on April 6 was a lot of fun; thanks to Sheri Harabedian for organizing such a nice event.  The winners are:

Perhaps you’ve seen the beautiful nameplates in the student tack room.  Elizabeth Henderson creates these miniature works of art and will create one for you for only $10.00.  Please see Elizabeth or an instructor for ordering information.

 

Linda Fortin, who is our master weekday stall cleaner, is also experienced at body clipping and show braiding services. Pictures available upon request.  Contact Linda at 302-3234, or 744-5686.
